🏆 UWCS Challenge++ (+ Free 🍕)
[Week 6] Wednesday 16th Feb, 5pm-8pm, CS0.01
We're back with another programming challenge! Come on down to tackle some cool problems across a range of difficulties. You can take part alone, or in teams of up to three, and there will be prizes for the top 3 places:
- 1st: £30 Amazon Voucher + Selection Boxes
- 2nd: £15 Amazon Voucher + Selection Box
- 3rd: Selection Box
If that isn't enough to entice you, then perhaps the free pizza being provided will do the trick!
We've made some changes from our previous contest, such as an easier setup, smoother difficulty curve, and new problem types - so hope to see you there!
🗳️ Annual General Meeting
[Week 6] Friday 18th Feb, 5pm-7pm, OC1.09, Teams & Discord
Our AGM is coming up this Friday at 5pm, and it's your chance to run for a position on the Exec, vote on who the new Exec will be, and have your say on some of the motions that have been proposed up until now. We'll be running the meeting in-person, with streams to Discord and Teams (use code xlnaghz to join) too.
You can still nominate yourself for an Exec position - you can either email returningofficer@uwcs.co.uk ahead of time, or nominate yourself on the day. The positions available are:

🎮 Friday Night Gaming
[Week 6] Friday 18th Feb, 7pm-12am, Department of Computer Science
Come join us in the ground floor of DCS, as we kick our feet up and relax by playing some games. We'll be putting out our range of consoles, and Steam is up and running for you to use your library, but we also have our very own GamingGet software where you can download and play a bunch of DRM-Free games, no login required. We now have a second switch available, and to top it all off, we'll have VR available too!

Bletchley Park Trip - Sign Ups Open Now!
We'll be going on a trip to Bletchley Park and the National Museum of Computing on Saturday 12th March (that's in Week 9). If you'd like to come, please fill out the form linked below, so we can get an idea of numbers:
