Anyways, we've got a ton going on this week and so there is definitely something fit for your wants :)

We have our weekly classics: Pub Meal, Comp Cafe, and Friday Night Gaming — all with tons of delicious food and fun chats

However, we've also got a ton of unique events, like Lightning Talks, Quackstar Karaoke, Real Ale, and even more! There are tons of awesome events, and quite a few require signups, so please do fill out any of the forms below to confirm you are taking part :)

It is the beginning of the end. Coursework is beginning to build up. The only way to fight this (as of right now) is to consume snacks and drinks from Comp Cafe (and just maybe work in the labs, who knows!)

There will always be free vend from the coffee machine in the common room for anyone wanting that as well :)

We've got three short (~15-20 minute) talks about a variety of topics!

Have you every wanted to learn about the mathematics of color (yes take the American spelling, idc)? Or perhaps the CORS of errors? Well, you see, I don't know what any of the topics will remotely cover, so I am definitely going to have to listen to these upcoming lightning talks!

The Real Ale festival is back and better than every baby!

This is the annual festival in which you pay a 4 pound entry fee and you can then purchase a plethora of ale, the flavors being endless.

Please bear in mind, I don't know anything about alcohol so i have absolutely no idea how into ale people are, but if this sounds interesting,c ome visit the festival with us!

We are hosting our first programming competition for the year! Teams of up to 4 are encouraged to participate and solve a challenge we present :D

Submissions will be accepted until 5pm on Sunday, so there will be the weekend to work away on getting the challenge!

Some great prizes will be prepared for the winners, so it is definitely worth considering participating.

Also, first year this is a great opportunity for a pdp point!

Come by and watch our treasurer Icen fight an Engineering Soc Exec, starting at 7pm!

We will all be there to watch and cheer him on, so please do stop by, purchase a ticket, support charity, and watch a CS student fight! >:)

Tickets cost 10 quid at the door, and all university matches start at 1pm, but charity matches begin at 7pm
