I know everyone gets busy around this time of term, but we've accidentally got you a busy week! We have our 2nd batch of Lighting Talks on some fun topics, and the CTF just before it from one of our lovely sponsors: Nettitude. What a busy Wednesday!

On the 1st of December (terrifyingly close, I know), Advent of Code starts! It's one of our favourite programming challenges of the year.

🧪 ChemCafe: Python Help Session

In collaboration with ChemSoc, we're going to help Chemistry students out with some Python!

🚩 Nettitude Talk and CTF

🕜 Wed 30 Nov 1:30pm - 5pm 📍 IMC2.46
There'll be an "Intro to Pentesting" talk by Nettitude, followed by the CTF. The CTF will be 2-4 hours, and has Amazon vouchers and Red Team Field Manuals as prizes!

A Kali Linux VM or similar is recommended, and only Cyber students have access to IMC, so ping Exec on Discord if you need to get in.

An advent calendar of Coding Challenges! They'll start easy and get harder, see how far you get. Use this as an opportunity to sharpen your programming skills, or maybe learn a new language....

Every year, we have good fun with this across the society, just don't try to do the whole thing in SQL.
