Hi Everyone!
Exec Meeting - Wednesday 3pm
We're having another exec meeting this week, where we normally discuss things coming up soon and our plans for the future! We'll be having this in Discord as always, feel free to drop into the VCs and give us suggestions/feedback in #exec!
Lovelace Downtime - Monday 16th
The Society Server Lovelace is expected to experience periods of downtime on Monday 16 November from 12 noon to perform major system updates. Unlike last time, the disruption should be comparitively minor. Any long running processes will need to be restarted after this update, and logon services to other servers will be impacted for the duration of the update. Additionally, our minecraft server and terraria server will be offline for that period. The avaliability of hosted websites to web users should not be impacted. If you have any questions about these changes, please do contact the Tech Officer (tech@uwcs.co.uk or DM) for more details.
Friday Night Gaming
We're shuffling the system again to try and get a wider range of games and interests catered for during gaming! We'll be running some out of the following five games at first:
- Mysterium
- TTT
- Among Us
- Valorant
- Golf It!
Depending on what people want to play on the evening! As always this isn't an exhaustive list, so if you want to play or think we could get a nice group playing another game, let us know! If none of these games take your fancy some of us will be chilling in the Lobby VC during the evening so you can drop in and chat if that's more your thing!
The Future
- Lightning talks 2

We also have a space for one more talk if you have a great idea you think you could pull of a short presentation on and prepare by next week - send Dan a DM if you think you might want to take part!
