Marmite’s Musings

Rust is Veltas’ perfect game: survival elements, crafting elements and loads of naked men.
According to Rayhaan, Mcnutty ‘is always willing’. Nobody dares ask what this means.
This executive intends to force Gabe’s hand by planning a Half Life 3 launch party.

Academic

Plan to contact Warwick Tech to run events with them, pending their approval by SU.

Gaming

Plan to look into planned Nintendo Soc to see what events they’d like to run, what they want to be.
Gaming to be made more visible, through Facebook group, Steam group, advertising TS server, esports spectating (rhiannon interested in running these), events with xbox representative.
First LAN next term moved to 3rd week from 4th to avoid FOSDEM.

Tech

We want to buy a Xeon Phi if possible for high-performance computing.
MSL update - waiting to hear back on integrated payment software.
Oculus Rift to be made available for academic work upon request.
