Week 6! AGM this week! Very important and exciting, definitely come along and take part! 6PM on Friday!
Our Annual General Meeting is this Friday at 6pm! We're running this Friday 19th February (Week 6, this friday!) and it's your opportunity to run for an Exec position, vote for who the new Exec will be, and make any changes to the society in a democratic way.
Naturally, due to the ongoing state of the world, it will be run online on Teams: go.uwcs.uk/agm2021.
If you're interested in running for a position, we'd love to hear your nomination ahead of time (Please email firstname.lastname@example.org ), though you're also free to nominate yourself on the day if you wish!
The positions available are:
- President - The representative of the society
- Secretary - In charge of the administrative details
- Treasurer - Responsible for the society budget
- Academic Coordinator - Organises academic events
- Gaming Coordinator - Organises gaming events
- Social Secretary - Organises social events
- Women's Officer - Ensure we have a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for women within the society
- Tech Officer - Responsible for managing all of the technical resources provided to our members

Thank you for WASD!
A big thank you to everyone who ran, organised, and donated during WASD! We managed to raise £1408.15 for SpecialEffect which is tremendous! That was the first time running the event remotely and I think it went really well.
